British newspaper "Daily Mail" confirmed that Barcelona is interested in joining Chelsea defender, German Antonio Rudiger, in January.
The Catalan newspaper "Sport" reported earlier that Barca puts Rudiger among its options to strengthen the defense in January, especially after Gerard Pique was injured, noting at the same time that Barcelona's first choice for this purpose is Manchester City player, Spanish Eric Garcia.
According to the Daily Mail, Barcelona could be the destination for Rudiger, who has only played 292 minutes with Chelsea, and could move on loan in January, to return to participating regularly and boost his chances of participating with Germany in Euro 2021.
While the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" indicates that it seems difficult for Barcelona to bet on the inclusion of the 27-year-old, given the difficult economic situation the club is facing.
The report added that Rüdiger is also interested in AC Milan and Roma, his former team.
It is worth noting that the Manshaft defender joined Chelsea in the summer of 2017 from the Giallorossi for 35 million euros, and his contract expires on June 30, 2022.
